Guidance - Grant applications

Inspiration

Here you can see a few examples of the wonderful projects that some schools have completed using their Grant Funding. Wellie sheds, cycle and scooter storage (all pictured) are some of the more popular requests that we receive.

Scooterpods

One of the installations we see again and again each year are the wonderfully colourful "scooter pods". Here is some more information about these installations in particular:

scooter pods

Each Scooterpod holds up to 12 scooters. Where space is really at a premium, the Scooterpod can be split in half and placed against a wall or solid fence, losing only 2 spaces per Pod. They are compact enough to post out to you and will arrive with full instructions, nuts and bolts, ready for fuss free, self installation.

Our products do not require any ground works before installation, unlike traditional storage which require extensive and costly foundations and footings to be laid.

Great to brighten up and keep your school sites tidy. Just wheel the scooters in and lock them.

Should a school only have grass then we can provide a base to allow it to be free standing or taken in overnight, at weekends and during school holidays or if they want to change the siting of the pod on a regular basis. The bases are £39.99 each.

All Primary colours and pink, purple and orange are available and recyclable. Our black version is made from 100% recycled materials. They truly capture the children's imagination!

An environmentally sustainable product, Scooterpods are proudly manufactured in the UK! We are the only Carbon Neutral cycle/scooter parking supplier in the country.

Remember: The supplier that you use is entirely your choice and I would always recommend shopping around and checking customer reviews to ensure that the supplier meets your expectations as cost, design and overall service
